The idea of standing still in front of a threat is not advisable. Learning to shoot two-handed and single hand utilizing both strong and support hands will give you an upper edge along with learning about cover vs concealment and shooting behind barricades. The student will learn the three different shooting positions starting with standing followed by kneeling and prone. You will learn the different parts of the body to engage along with how effective each area is and the results of striking those areas. The student will learn how to deal with changing magazines during target engagement and dealing with malfunctions and how to get your pistol operational again quickly. Once you obtain these skills you can advance to the next level course of shooting which covers shooting on the move and multiple target engagements and unconventional positions of shooting.
The student will gain an elevated level of confidence in the safe handling and operation of an AR-15 type rifle or carbine and show substantial improvement in accuracy and speed of target engagement. Then the next course will be focused on confident experienced carbine shooters looking to significantly improve their accuracy and their speed under pressure of real-world scenarios.
